An unexpected cost of aging

I've noticed something lately that bothers me. No, not the grey hair that is more prevalent with every trip to the barber shop. Not even he grey hairs that mottle my whiskers (yet another reason to shave). No, not the sore knees that make me wonder why I ever bought a two story house. What really bugs me are my hands.
I swear I use to have slender, nimble fingers. Musician's hands. Expressive. Eleagant but still masculine. Dare I say lithe? What happened?
I know... A picture is worth a thousand words...
My hands seem so...meaty now. Like they had a secret life attached to a jackhammer operator and didn't bother to tell me.
OMG! They've turned in to my father's hands! When did that happen? How did I miss the memo?
Oh well, maybe Ellen Forney needs a new model.
