Only in Georgia?
Okay, this isn't going to help our fine state's reputation, but it's funny.
My sister and her family moved from the southern suburbs of Atlanta to Tybee Island last year. Tybee is ... well, it use to be the alternative Spring Break spot for those college students that didn't want to travel to Florida. It use to be small.. undeveloped. I'm not so sure anymore.
My Brother-in-law was a [ahem] barber. Not really sure how he came up with as much disposable income as he seemed to have. Drugs? Gambling? Don't know. Now he sells golf carts for a living so people can scoot aroud the island. But that's another blog.
They have two daughters, 12 and 17. Kaylee and Jessie.
(Finally, the amusing part) Jessie decided to bring her boyfriend up from
Tybee on a recent visit to my mom's house. Imagine our surprise when he asks "Hey, how come you have a picture of my cousin Caleb hanging on the wall?"I hear banjoes... they're everywhere.
Yup, he's one of my sister-in-law's nephews. (No blood relation, but still.)
