"MIAMI (AFP) - A Florida teacher who admitted having sex several times with her 14-year-old student was freed after prosecutors dropped sexual abuse charges to avoid calling the boy to the witness stand.

In the case that drew national US media attention, Ocala, Florida prosecutor Brad King said he decided to withdraw the charges because forcing the victim to testify could further traumatize him.

The attractive blonde, blue-eyed teacher, Debra LaFave, 25, had earlier admitted to having had sex with her student, 9 years her junior several times in 2004."

So in Florida it is illegal to have sex with a minor 9 yeares younger than you? They consider the child a victim? They think the child may have been traumatized? Even if you are a blonde babe? Floridians are such prudes and should mind their own business.

SPT #9, An Exquisite Corpse

A little from column A, a little from Column B. I find myself relating to both of these characters, McDreamy and O'Malley.

No, I don't think I'm "dreamy", but the inner conflict he's facing right now, Addison or Meredith... the "right" thing, or the thing you feel in your heart.

And poor O'Malley, so close to the object of his affection, but finding his love unrequited. Miserably... horrifically... unrequited. Nice guys finish last.

I guess you could say I'm a nice guy that aspires to be dreamy.

And what a monster these two make when merged. A real chimera.
